Grad 2017 will be taking place on Thursday, June 29th, 2017. The ceremonies will take place as follows:

Grad Survey

Grad Surveys will be distributed at the first Grad Assembly. Surveys are due back at the office. Surveys are also available here.

 

Cap and Gown

Cap and Gown rental fee for Commencement is $25.

This fee must be paid by Friday, May 26, 2017 at the main office.

 

Commencement Tickets  

There is no charge for attending the Commencement Ceremony, but a Ticket is required.

Grads must request the number of tickets they would like. A maximum of 4 tickets may be requested. Grads don't need their own ticket because they will be on stage. Ticket requests must be made by May 26, 2017.

 

Banquet and Dance

Ticket Sales are from June 1 - 7, 2017.

Banquet Tickets are $25.00 each (students also need a ticket)

Dance Tickets are $10.00 each

Table reservation are made at the time of ticket purchase. A seating chart is available at that time. Students can reserve an unlimited number of seats.

Grad Parents Meeting

All after Grad Activities must be organized by the parents and graduates. If you or your parents wish to organize Chem Free Grad party please contact Roby Sharpe (786-5560) to let your wishes be known. If a large number of parents support a Chem Free party and students are interested in participating, the school will go ahead with some planning of such an event.

 

Grad Theme Week Parties

This week is not condoned, supported, organized, or supervised by any employee of the YRHS. Please read the memo by the School Community Council for further information.

Here are some common questions associated with Grad. If you would like to ask a question and have it answered here, please send us an e-mail!

What if the grad and his/her escort does not want to attend the banquet but want to attend the program and dance?

Those Grads and escorts not attending the Banquet are welcome to come to the program and the dance. Parents are welcome to attend the dance as well. Dance Ticket MUST be purchased by Grad's and Escorts.

Do my parents need a dance ticket?

Since your parents probably aren't going to stay for the whole night, they will not need a dance ticket. They can participate in the dance with the parents for free.
