Cell Phones in Schools - Provincial Measures

As we eagerly approach the 24-25 school year, the Good Spirit School Division is aligning with provincial mandates for K-12 classrooms by updating our procedures on cell phone use. 

To help create a focused and connected learning environment, students are asked to keep their cell phones silenced and out of sight during instructional time, with some exceptions for educational or safety needs. Students are welcome to use their devices during breaks and non-instructional periods. Since each school within GSSD may have unique guidelines, we encourage parents and students to check with their school for specific details.
